Very nice photos of Ireland! Can't wait to get there!
I am thinking about the possibility of visiting Ireland and seeing the country my ancestors immigrated from.I usually don't rent a car when I travel in Europe. I depend on public transportation. When visiting Ireland will I need a car, or can I use the trains and other public transportation. I am not sure what part of Ireland I am going to visit yet so this is not a real specific question, just one in general. Thanks! |

ireland is a wonderful place to visit whether it be by public transport or not i personaly would hire a car it may take you places public transport wouldnt! dublin city is the heart of hustle and bussle with some loveley architecture and great nightlife. if its peace and beautifull surroundings youre after theres wicklow (the garden of ireland) with glendaloch and pullaphuca lakes. down south again some fab scenery with killarney lakes. cork has a fab wildlife park (photo island) it also contains photo house and gardens worth a visit. for a bit of crack theres the west of ireland co clare (lisdoonvarna) hope this is of some help x kate |

Beautiful photos of Ireland - as a native I can say they are really representative and apt!
For more information about Ireland may I suggest:

You will find lots of information relating to various methods of transport, including trains, buses and hire cars. |

When visiting ireland dublin is a must. Great night life and places to see with things to do. After Dublin there's Cork and galway, both are really scenic and for things to do look up an irish tourist website. for transport really a car is need, when outside dublin anyway because public transport isn't good enough and is too much hassle. Google some websites, bes way really. |
