We are doing a short visit to Gibraltar , and we should like to know .
-Spaniards need passport or they may cross the border with the DNI ?
-Do we cross the border with the car or we may leave it near the border and cross on foot , using in Gibraltar the public transport ?
-Which are the "must see" in GIB ? |

You can cross the border by car but if u'd like to walk through u can and then get a taxi to visit or go where ever you want. When you cross there is a bus stop or a taxi stand and u may choose what you want to do. |

To tell you the truth i don't really know if u can only use ur DNI card as i always use my passport everywhere when i go into Spain and back in to Gib. so if u have a passport id advise u to use it. |

Yeah anyone can go in and out through the border of Gibraltar and Spain with ID cards, but the police can be a bit dodgy about it if ur not over 18... it's best to take ur passport thoe if u can, stops all problems... and yeah, you can leave your car at the border n cross by foot... the Gib transport is ok, just make sure u buy a good map or go with someone that knows the place... it is a small place, but u can get lost very easly... and must see places, well... The musium, St Michaels cave, Main Street, Casemates (you can go to the tourist bored there n ask for more info) the upper rock, Europa point, thers loads of cool places to see to be honest... any more questions just ask me... thomasjohnson15@hotmail.com |

Spanish nationals can enter Gibraltar with just their ID card. Good things to visit are the cablecar which takes you to the top of the rock. here you can see the famous Gibraltar monkeys and see amazing views across to Africa. Also on the list is Europa Point, to see the lighthouse and visit the "last shop in Europe" for souvenirs. Other favourites are Main Street for shopping bargains(tax free) and Casemates Square for bars and restaurants. |
