| St. Mary's Lighthouse at Dusk |
| Submitted by Lanyon on 2008-11-11 02:26:46 (via www.pbase.com) |
| A wonderful lighthouse near Whitley Bay in the North East of England. Reached between the tides via a short causeway, St Mary’s Lighthouse has all the fascination of a miniature, part-time island.

So what does it stand for now? I heard that some of the former lighthouses are actually open for the public and people can go inside and check out the view. Did you go inside? If you have some pics of the view you got from there I would be eager to see them:) |
