| Extremadura is one of Spain's best-kept travel secrets. Geographically, Extremadura is a wonderfully inviting mix of mountain ranges, scenic meadows and panoramic fields. The land has remained pretty much unchanged for centuries which makes it is an attractive destination for travellers who like to get off the beaten track.

| Sure you have seen many pictures of Venice, also known as the "La Dominante", "Serenissima", "Queen of the Adriatic", "City of Water", "City of Bridges", and "The City of Light", last October I was there, the mooring poles" captured my attention, so I hope these photos are something different to what you have previously seen :) Francisca
